N.E.W Masters Badminton

We are very excited to share that North East Wales will be running two Masters teams this season! Firstly an Over 40s team will take part in the Masters County Championship which will see them compete in 5 league matches with home fixtures against Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Nottinghamshire and away fixtures against Warwickshire and Leicestershire. An Over 50s team will be taking part in the Masters County Challenge which will be held in Wolverhampton on the weekend of the 10th/11th January 2026 where we will be represented by a team of 5 men and 5 women.

Charity Summer Tournaments

This Summer saw not one, but three, fabulous charity tournaments! Firstly Caitlin (N.E.W Match Secretary) ran a handicap doubles tournament in Prestatyn on 14th June in aid of The Walton Centre and then Heather (N.E.W Secretary) organised a senior team competition on 2nd August and a junior handicap tournament on 9th August in aid of Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. A huge thank you to everybody who helped, played, donated and supported – the three events raised a combined total of almost £7,500 for these two wonderful charities!

Welcome to the 2025-26 Season!

With under 2 weeks to go until the first match we hope everybody is getting excited for the new season! Senior League fixtures are all now available under the Leagues tab along with scoresheets and the 2025-26 Rules

Our Match Secretaries have sent out the Team Registrations which need to be returned by 15th September 2025 or at least 72 hours prior to your first match. Good luck to all clubs and here’s to a fantastic season of badminton!
